Smart Systems & Cyber Security Technician

One of our clients are currently seeking an individual to help assist with their IT, smart technologies, and secure network systems.

The role will provide a hands-on opportunity to work with enterprise technology, engage with key stakeholders within the company, and develop new digital and technical skills. Ideal for a first-time role or career change.

KEY DUTIES

  • Configure and install network hardware including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Assist with basic cybersecurity monitoring tasks, such as reviewing alerts or updating security software
  • Learn to use AI-driven tools for automating routine IT support tasks or analysing system performance
  • Monitor and review network infrastructure to ensure effective operational uptime and network performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams outlining the network architecture and procedures
  • Provide technical support to localised IT Teams and assist with network-related inquiries
  • Respond to security incidents to ensure the integrity of the network
  • Support the setup and maintenance of smart office technologies (e.g., connected meeting rooms, digital signage, or automated systems)
  • Contribute to testing and troubleshooting smart devices or AI-powered applications used within the company
