A Typical Day in the Job:
Acting as the first point of contact for IT issues, logging and managing tickets through the ITSM system.
Providing first-line technical support to users via phone, email, chat, and self-service portals.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues within your skill level, escalating where necessary.
Supporting users with Microsoft Office applications, Windows operating systems, and mobile devices (iOS & Android).
Assisting with Active Directory tasks such as password resets and account management.
Maintaining high-quality customer service in line with SLAs and company standards.
Collaborating with second-line and resolver teams to escalate complex issues.
Updating documentation of known fixes and contributing to IT knowledge bases.
Ensuring clear communication with users by providing updates and guidance in non-technical terms.
Youll be supported by an experienced Service Desk team and receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships .
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Knowledge:
A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Strong communication skills confident speaking with users and explaining technical issues in plain language.
Respectful, professional, and aligned with Codestones values of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Customer service experience (formal or informal) would be an advantage.
A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£15,000 per annum .
Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day , with flexible shifts between 8:00am6:00pm.
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) , increasing annually to 28 days with service.

Youll complete a Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship , developing your skills in service desk operations, system support, networking, and cloud technologies. The programme includes live virtual training, self-paced modules, and one-to-one tutor support.
