A Typical Day in the Job:
Setting up and maintaining A/V and presentation equipment (e.g. projectors) for assemblies, meetings, and school events.
Maintaining high standards in the organisation, storage, and cataloguing of IT assets and inventory.
Supporting IT projects and proactively working through support backlogs.
Using the Help Desk system as the main point for logging and managing tickets and IT requests.
Assisting with the setup and maintenance of hardware, software, and user accounts.
Ensuring child protection, confidentiality, and health & safety policies are adhered to at all times.
Acting as a role model for pupils by demonstrating professional behaviour and conduct.
Supporting the overall ethos and aims of the Trust by contributing to collaborative IT initiatives.
Youll be supported by experienced IT colleagues and guided through structured training with Baltic Apprenticeships .
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Knowledge:
A keen interest in IT and technology.
Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer care abilities and a professional approach.
A willingness to learn and develop as part of a supportive team.
A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£14,526 per annum .
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 4:00pm ; Friday, 8:00am 3:30pm .
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with live online training, self-paced modules, and one-to-one tutor support. Youll build valuable skills in IT support, networks, and systems administration while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.
