Our client has a need for a hands-on technical DevOps Architect with active UKIC DV Clearance a for a long term initial 12-month contact assignment.
You will lead on producing detailed technical design for highly secure enterprise solutions and networks. With a core focus in being a SME on Kubernetes to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerised applications. You will lead on the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions, and will need sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies. You will have a proven technical ability to diagnose complex technical problems to their root cause, when required.
The role will excitingly cover a broad range of skills, using the latest cutting-edge technology. It will suit individuals who have a strong hands-on DevOps background, and strong Kubernetes, Linux, and Azure/Cloud experiences in having Architected enterprise secure platforms/systems. Any SecOps or Zero experience is highly advantageous, as is hold relevant DevOps Architect, Cloud or Technology certifications. Previous experience in for a Consultancy, and/or getting involved in tenders, bid, opportunities would be advantageous, but not essential.
Working within in a dynamic project environment, this will be a long-term, excitingly covering enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud and Application technologies. You will be part of the team building, design, implementing solutions on-premises, Cloud and DevOps. You will likely have strong hands-on source control experience - GIT, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins. You will have strong automation experience building CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience on source control management like GIT, VSTS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD.
This role requires a self-starter DevOps Architect who can hit the ground running and who thrives in consistent learning, picking up enhanced DevOps approaches to solutions built.
