Senior Software Engineer - Endevor, DevOps, CI/CD, Banking, Mainframe, Jenkins, Hybrid, Yorkshire

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Endevor and with expertise in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe environments. In this pivotal role, you will manage Endevor configurations, integrate pipelines using Jenkins (mZooM), and support the automation of development toil while ensuring compliance and SDLC best practices.

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Endevor for Mainframe development teams

Integrate DevOps tooling and pipelines, including Jenkins (mZooM)

Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce toil

Support development teams with pipeline integration and troubleshooting

Ensure SDLC processes and change controls are adhered to and compliant

Manage Cobol/JCL scripts and support Mainframe development life cycle

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as Endevor Administrator

Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins (mZooM)

Hands-on experience with Mainframe tools, Cobol, JCL, and related SDLC processes

Familiarity with DevOps tooling, automation, and change management

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
