This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll support the management of IT orders, invoices, shipments, inventory and day-to-day departmental administration. You'll also work closely with the IT Administration Manager to help coordinate workloads, support team development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the function. What You'll Be Doing

IT Administration & Operational SupportSupport the delivery of all aspects of IT administration functions across the departmentMaintain accurate hardware and software inventory recordsProvide administrative support to colleagues within the IT teamEnsure all IT documentation and records are maintained accurately and efficiently

Orders, Shipments & Invoice ProcessingCoordinate incoming and outgoing TNT shipmentsProcess invoices and ensure all documentation is accurate and completed within required timescalesApprove orders within agreed authorisation levelsHelp organise workloads to ensure departmental targets and deadlines are met

Process Improvement & Problem SolvingReview existing administrative processes to identify opportunities for improvementSupport the implementation of new processes and ways of workingProvide practical solutions to resolve issues and improve operational efficiencySupport the team in delivering accurate and efficient order placement processes

Team Support & DevelopmentSupport the IT Administration Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the teamHelp organise team workloads to ensure tasks are completed to a high standardIdentify and escalate performance concerns where appropriateSupport recruitment, onboarding and induction activities for new team membersCoach and mentor less experienced colleagues to support their development and confidenceContribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team cultureDeputise for the IT Administration Manager where required

About You

Essential Skills & ExperienceGood standard of education including Maths and EnglishProfessional and approachable with excellent customer service skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a polite telephone mannerExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressureAble to work independently whilst also contributing effectively as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceWillingness to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification

Qualifications

Essential
  • Good standard of education including Maths and English. Professional and approachable with excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a polite telephone manner. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure. Able to work independently whilst also contributing effectively as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification.
