AI Analyst

AI Analyst

London

A rare opportunity for an exceptional early-career candidate to join a leading investment environment in a role focused on helping the business unlock the practical value of AI.

This role is about far more than following AI trends. It is about asking the right questions: what can AI genuinely improve, where can it add value, and how can it be implemented effectively in a live business environment?

As an AI Analyst, you will work across operations, risk, technology and other business functions to identify opportunities, understand current workflows, evaluate where AI and better use of data can improve outcomes, and help turn ideas into practical solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, real enthusiasm for AI, and a solid understanding of data, who wants to play a visible role in shaping meaningful change.

The role

You will help bridge the gap between the theory and promise of AI and its practical application across the business. That means working closely with senior stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify inefficiencies and pain points, and explore how AI, automation and data-driven tools can improve the way teams operate.

You will help assess opportunities, support recommendations, and work alongside internal technical resources to help drive implementation. The role offers broad exposure across business processes, technology, data and change.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders across operations, risk, technology and related business areas to understand workflows, challenges and opportunities
  • Identify where AI, automation and improved use of data can deliver real business benefit
  • Analyse current processes and help define more efficient and scalable ways of working
  • Support the evaluation of AI-enabled tools, data solutions and technology opportunities
  • Help shape practical recommendations and support the delivery of solutions
  • Work closely with internal technical resources to accelerate implementation
  • Help maximise value from internal systems, data sources and business tools
  • Contribute to wider change and process improvement initiatives across the organisation

Candidate profile

  • 0–1 years’ experience, or a standout graduate with relevant internships, project work or practical exposure
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for AI and strong interest in how it can be applied in a practical business setting
  • Strong knowledge of data and an understanding of how it can be used to drive better decisions and processes
  • Bright, commercially minded and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working in broad, evolving and sometimes ambiguous environments
  • Strong academic background preferred

Attractive backgrounds

Candidates may come from a range of backgrounds, but we are particularly interested in those with exposure to:

  • AI, automation or workflow improvement projects
  • Data analysis or data-driven decision-making
  • Business analysis, change or transformation work
  • Early experience in operations, technology or process improvement
  • Tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI or similar analytical and automation tools

Why join

  • Opportunity to help shape how AI is adopted in practice within a sophisticated business environment
  • Broad exposure across data, technology, operations and business change
  • Significant stakeholder interaction from an early stage
  • A role with genuine scope, visibility and long-term development potential
  • An excellent platform for someone looking to build a career at the intersection of AI, data and business
