Threat Detection Manager

Excellent Financial Service firm seeks a Threat Detection Manager to join. This role combines people leadership, technical depth, and strategic oversight within a complex, enterprise-scale cybersecurity environment.

In this role you will be tasked with threat profiling, building out from scratch CI/CD detections as code using a repository like Git to store detection rules, rule base tuning, and helping to develop and create new use cases.

Role requirements:

• Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed detection and automation team.
• Oversee planning and prioritisation of work, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity roadmaps and business objectives.
• Drive the development of new detection use cases and automated workflows to address emerging threats.
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to standardise and streamline detection and automation deployments.
• Establish proactive monitoring frameworks that strengthen incident detection and response capabilities.

This role is 3 days a week in Surrey, with a base of up to £100,000 plus bonus + excellent benefits.
