Join us as a Full stack Java REACT Technical Lead to drive the technical design and development of a highly available, high volume, low latency trading platform to support the global to IB Syndicate business.
To be successful as a as Full stack Java REACT Tech Lead, you should have the following skills/experience:- Extensive front-end technology and back-end technology skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Redux, Node, test framework (e.g., Jest), Java, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, Junit, Mockito, microservices.
- Strong experience with SQL (MS SQL preferred), cloud technology and messaging tools as well as DevOps tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Nexus, Confluence, SonarQube, Veracode, GitLab, Maven, NPM, etc.
- Strong experience with test driven development and CI/CD, including exposure to automated testing platforms (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium).
- Leading in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Driving and leading on decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent of Computer Science, Object Oriented Design and Data Structures.
- Experience of working in an IT project environment preferably in banking or financial sector.
- Ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Willingness to keep up with industry trends and continuously improve skills.
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures..
