2388 - IG/Clinical Application Support Officer

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Systems Team at Barnsley Hospital. Were an enthusiastic and determined team as we continue to digitise the Trust and support departments and services with their digital journeys.

Main duties of the job

The main roles and responsibilities of the IG/CAM Support Officer include assisting with the management, development and support of core Barnsley Hospital clinical systems. This includes delivering key training elements, system configuration, providing 2nd line support to the clinical systems helpdesk, and supporting our various ICT implementations.

These systems include, but are not limited to, numerous CareFlow applications, Winvoice, and ICE, which support the hospital as we move to digital solutions for order communications, prescribing, patient documentation, dictations, referrals and clinical assessments.

Candidates must:

be able to cover our core hours between 8am and 5pm,

be able to adapt to changes and new ways of working as we implement new systems and upgrades,

be an excellent team player and work closely with your peers on projects,

be someone who thrives on delivering support and digital change to our Trust.

  • Significant proven knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused service

  • Knowledge of developing procedures and implementing new working practice.

  • Experience of managing and resolving issues with patient records

  • Experience of delivering presentations

  • Previous experience of working in the NHS with Clinicians and Management

Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to Diploma Level or equivalent relevant working experience
Desirable
  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • ITIL Foundation
