Barribal Associates are working in partnership with a global direct to consumer branded products organisation, with sales in excess of €0.5billion. As we accelerate the journey toward margin expansion, omnichannel excellence and personalised customer engagement, we are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Business Intelligence to lead the global BI function.
This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance. You will define and execute a global BI and analytics strategy that transforms data into actionable insight — driving revenue growth, EBITDA improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic clarity across the organisation.
You will act as a trusted advisor to Executive Leadership across Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Digital.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven leadership experience in Business Intelligence or Commercial Analytics
• Background in a global e-commerce, FMCG, Beauty, Retail or DTC environment
• Strong commercial acumen with deep P&L understanding
• Experience managing cross-border data environments
• Advanced BI expertise (Power BI essential and Databricks very useful)
• Strong data warehousing knowledge (Snowflake, Azure, AWS)
• SQL, data modelling and forecasting capability

What You’ll Do:
Shape the Global BI Strategy
• Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned to the 3–5 year corporate strategy
• Establish global data governance, master data standards and KPI harmonisation
• Lead data democratisation while ensuring GDPR compliance and data integrity
• Oversee BI architecture and tools (Power BI, Databricks, Datarails etc.)
Drive Commercial Performance
• Deliver global sales performance analytics across DTC, distributors and marketplaces
• Lead pricing, promotion and margin optimisation analytics
• Build SKU, regional and channel profitability models
Unlock Customer & Marketing Insight
• Lead customer segmentation and CLV modelling
• Optimise digital marketing performance through ROI and attribution analytics
• Deliver insights on consumer behaviour, product lifecycle and brand performance
• Enable data-driven CRM and loyalty strategies
Elevate Executive Decision-Making
• Standardise global dashboards and board-level KPI reporting
• Translate complex data into compelling executive storytelling
• Foster a culture of insight-led decision-making
Build & Lead the Function
• Develop and scale a high-performing global BI team
• Build data literacy across commercial and operational teams
• Manage BI budgets and vendor partnerships
