Position Overview

We're seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager focused on IT Hardware to lead revenue growth through public and private sector frameworks, tenders, and high-value projects. You will be responsible for securing £100k+ deals, shifting organisations from "new" to "refurbished/remanufactured," and exceeding ambitious sales targets.

This role requires a proven closer with experience in frameworks and tenders, and a strong track record in high-value B2B hardware sales. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and play a central role in shaping and delivering the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Framework & Tender Leadership

  • Lead the company's approach to public frameworks (e.g., NHS, CCS, Local Government) and private sector tenders.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities.
  • Own bid quality, pricing, and conversion through call-offs, mini-competitions, and direct awards.
  • Deliver against joint public/private pipeline targets (£150–200k/month, growing annually).
  • Support the wider sales team to maximise framework value.

Prospecting & Relationship Management

  • Win and grow accounts across NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, MATs, charities, and targeted private sector industries.
  • Engage procurement, sustainability, and digital leads early in refresh/budget cycles.
  • Represent the company at events as a trusted supplier for premium refurbished IT.

Account Growth & Delivery

  • Provide senior oversight for large-scale, multi-site contracts, ensuring financial targets and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Drive post-award growth via renewals, upsells, ESG reporting, and case studies.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless fulfilment.

Preferred Experience

  • Proven track record of winning six-figure public/private sector IT deals through frameworks and tenders.
  • Experience in high-value B2B hardware sales (ideally Circular IT, sustainability, or MSP environments).
  • Understanding of procurement models, regulations, and buyer mindsets.
  • MCIPS or equivalent desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
