Unified Communications Officer

Be-Resourcing is supporting a professional services organisation in recruiting a Unified Communications Officer to join their on-site technical support team. The role is entirely office-based and focuses on ensuring reliable user support, smooth communication systems, and consistent AV operations across the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for meetings, events, and hybrid sessions.
  • Carry out routine equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and basic system upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot issues across communication platforms, devices, and AV setups.
  • Assist with testing, rollout, and adoption of new communication or collaboration tools.
  • Contribute to project work, which may occasionally require work outside standard hours.
  • Set up, operate, and guide colleagues on AV equipment and room technology.
  • Manage stock levels, equipment storage, and ordering processes when needed.
  • Handle support tickets and ensure requests are resolved within agreed timeframes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience supporting Windows environments and general hardware.
  • A foundational understanding of collaboration tools, meeting room systems, networking basics, or voice protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Experience using service desk or ticketing tools.
  • At least a year of experience working with AV or meeting-room technology.
  • Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive team player who performs well under pressure.
  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (e.g., lifting equipment, moving between rooms, manual handling).
