Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data manipulation and transformation in Azure, Snowflake, and other specified data warehouses
- Design and execute data solutions.
- Manage dataset access and controls.
- Draft and validate processes.
- Document and log structural alterations in Azure/Snowflake.
- Develop and sustain data processes, applications, and features.
- Deploy and uphold database objects.
- Enhance and maintain tools for system analysis.
- Construct and manage Power BI data models in line with team requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement existing and newly acquired contracts.
- Establish and maintain data warehouse infrastructure, flows, and pipelines.
- Source data from various origins and construct logical models (e.g., dimension/fact tables).
- Assist BI Analysts in fulfilling internal and external reporting obligations for contracts.
- Identify and establish KPIs, milestones, and financial thresholds.
- Evaluate supply chain requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain professional ties with Operations colleagues.
- Execute data manipulation and transformation tasks using Power BI.
- Employ DAX and SQL code within Power BI.
- Create schemes using SQL and Power BI to monitor performance.
- Provide support for other roles within the Business Intelligence Team during absences or workload surges.
- Prepare daily performance reports and any additional requested reports.
- Publish commissioner returns.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of relational databases, including SQL.
- Demonstrable experience in utilising Power BI.
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, including pivots, macros, and look-ups.
- Proven ability to handle large volumes of data with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication of complex Business Intelligence concepts to individuals at all levels within the organisation.
- Quick understanding and adherence to complex systems and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Technical skills include data manipulation, validation, cleaning, row-level security, relational database management, and dimensional modelling.
- Soft skills encompass stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication, logical reasoning, inquisitive nature, dataflows, data pipelines, data validation, and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of developing informative Business Intelligence that meets the needs of its target audience.
- Able to understand and process changing requirements in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to build good, professional relationships, both internally and externally as a representative of Reed In Partnership.
- Technical skills: Snowflake Scheme Design, Kimball Methodology, Star Schemas
