Software Developer - Cramlington - GBP £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

I have just partnered with a growing start-up based in the North East, this company's mission is to firmly establish itself as the go-to provider within their space!

Due to business growth, they're looking for a Software Developer with at least 3+ years of commercial experience with Python to join their technical team and help them migrate over to an enterprise solution from the prototype.

If you are a motivated individual who would thrive in a disruptive software house environment and is passionate about creating high-quality projects they would love to hear from you.

This role requires you to be on-site for the first few months, you will then have the opportunity to work on either a hybrid or remote basis. You will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK!

Key Skills:

• Technical knowledge of - Python and Cloud-based tech (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of MongoDB or SQL Server
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Kerl
• Minimum 2 years in commercial Development experience
• Prior exposure to working on migration projects
• Terraform
• Bitbucket or Git
• Experience working on enterprise solutions is highly beneficial
• Experience building test scripts using TDD is highly beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Takes a disciplined approach to software development in all stages - analysis, build, test, and support - using best practices
• Develop and maintain applications using Python technologies
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Perform TDD testing to ensure quality
• Ensure the applications are responsive, fast, and user-friendly
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desired but not essential
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Have a good knowledge of responsive development
• Familiarity with the Git version control system
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
