As a Qolcom Account Director you will be responsible for the identification, development, and successful closure of new business opportunities within a designated sales region and existing customers, with a strong focus on networking, security, and infrastructure solutions delivered in partnership with strategic tier-one vendors.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Identify, create, campaign and close new sales opportunities aligned to Qolcom’s core capabilities: Digital Workplace, Intelligent Infrastructure & Security
  • Own and drive opportunities with a strong emphasis on solutions built around HP Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper technologies
  • Provide full commercial ownership across all stages of the opportunity lifecycle, from qualification through to commercial close and transition to delivery
  • Maintain Qolcom’s interaction with customers by fostering multi-level relationships, including senior IT, security, networking, and executive stakeholders
  • Provide leadership of virtual teams engaged on opportunities, ensuring close alignment between sales, pre-sales, vendors, and delivery teams
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with key strategic vendors (HP Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), working closely with Qolcom’s partner management teams to:
  • Drive vendor-led opportunities and pipeline
  • Leverage joint go-to-market motions, campaigns, and funding where applicable
  • Position Qolcom as a trusted partner within vendor ecosystems
  • Perform regular analysis of key competitors within the designated region and customer base to support win strategies
  • Carry out structured account targeting and planning, including campaign and opportunity planning to maximise sales effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with technical and services teams to shape propositions that meet specific client networking, infrastructure, and security needs
  • Manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception through to delivery start and commercial close

Experience

  • 5+ years’ enterprise sales experience within the IT industry
  • Proven experience winning complex infrastructure and security deals, particularly networking and network security solutions
  • Demonstrable hands-on sales experience and/or strong commercial relationships with HP Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, and/or Juniper
  • Experience working for a recognised IT reseller, systems integrator, managed services provider, or vendor/manufacturer, ideally within a vendor-led partner ecosystem
  • Proven ability to engage at all levels, including C-level executives
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure, negotiate, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining long-term strategic customer relationships

Core Competencies

  • Experience selling IT Managed Services alongside enterprise networking and security solutions
  • Familiarity with vendor partner programmes, joint business planning, and routed / influenced vendor sales motions
  • Understanding of enterprise customer environments across networking, security, and hybrid infrastructure
