Business Development Representative

Location: Remote Based - London Office if needed

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK sales team. This is a high-activity, outbound-focused rol e, ideal for someone confident on the phone, who thrives in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment, and is eager to build relationships both remotely and in person.

You will play a critical role in building pipeline by engaging prospective clients through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn, as well as supporting and occasionally attending client meetings alongside Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting, with a strong focus on cold calling.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within UK accounting firms, SMEs, and corporate finance team.
  • Qualify leads against defined criteria and uncover client needs.
  • Book qualified discovery meetings and demos for Business Development Manager.
  • Support Business Development Managers in progressing opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings (virtual and in-person) where appropriate, with a desire to build face-to-face relationship.
  • Follow structured outreach cadences across multiple channel.
  • Accurately log all activity and maintain data integrity within the CRM.
  • Handle objections professionally and refine messaging based on results.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to improve targeting and conversion rate.

Skills & Experience

2+ years’ experienc e in a BDR/SDR or outbound sales role (B2B preferred).

Proven ability to work in a high-activity, target-driven environment.

Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.

Confidence in cold calling and objection handling.

Comfortable engaging clients both remotely and in person.

Highly organized with good time management.

Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working to target.

Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) is advantageous.
