Global Mobility Subject Matter Expert

Location: Remote

Contract : 12 months - Outside IR35

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and detail‐oriented Global Mobility Expert to join our client team. In this role, you will ensure the effective, timely, and compliant management of employee delegations abroad (outbound) and provide expert support to international employees traveling to the UK (inbound).

You will act as the go‐to expert for all international assignment matters, providing strategic guidance, coaching team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of global mobility processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delegation Management

  • Oversee on‐time and compliant outbound and inbound delegations, serve as the primary contact for complex delegation cases, providing expert advice and Instruct payroll on starting/stopping assignment allowances and processing one‐time assignment payments.
  • Support local departments and projects with mobility‐related processes and administrative tasks.

2. Data Quality & Compliance

Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure compliance with mobility policies and processes. Implement and maintain best‐practice approaches to data management, reporting, and documentation.

4. Subject Matter Expertise

Act as the subject matter expert for all types of international assignments, providing strategic insights to internal stakeholders. Up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in global mobility.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Previous experience in global mobility (outbound/inbound), international HR, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of global mobility processes, compliance requirements, and assignment policies.
  • Proven experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‐paced and changing environment.
  • IT proficient (Outlook, Office 365).
