Device42 Application Specialist

We are looking for a Device42 application specialist to help review their existing installation, import their existing IT estate and set out and document best practices going forward. To customize integrations, automate processes, and provide valuable insights for ongoing improvements.

This will involve working closely with many departments within the Infrastructure Teams across all 3 regions.

Hybrid role - 2 days per week in London.

Initial 3 month contract (Inside IR35).

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand existing installation
• Suggest and implement any agreed improvements
• Agree and implement customer requirements
• Work closely with all Infrastructure teams to understand the existing global IT estate
• Import of all IT hardware globally
• Set-up and configure device discovery, including integrations such as Red Hat Satellite and SolarWinds
• To implement Life Cycle management tools
• Customize dashboards to meet organizational needs
• Generate comprehensive reports for various stakeholders
• Provide knowledge and training to existing staff
• Set up and document best practices

Skills/Experience:

• Good working knowledge of Device42 to include
• Configuring and adding devices, manually or via import
• Configuring Building, Rooms and Racks, including floor plan and rack elevations
• Patch panels, circuits, power units
• User and Group management
• Reporting, importing and exporting
• Configuring and using Custom Fields
• Automating processes and refining workflow
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management
• Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite, SolarWinds and Axonius
