Bench IT are looking to onboard a Desktop Support Engineer for a prestigious London client to deliver first in class service. The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below;
- Proven experience working as a Desktop Support Engineer
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good knowledge of a service management tool.
- ServiceNow would be an advantage
- Understanding of ITIL Foundation
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Initiative, willingness to seek and achieve improvements to processes and technology
- Capable of providing white glove VIP support
- Confidence in resolving issues that require physical presence, such as hardware installations or network configurations
- Instructing users through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat

- Thin Client management
- Proficient with Operating Systems (Windows 11/Windows Server)
- Microsoft 365: Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint & Integrated Apps
- Active Directory Users & Computers
- Laptop/Desktop builds and management
- Zoom
- Mimecast
- iPhone configuration & management
- Polycom/Condeco Audio Visual management
