2nd Line Support Engineer

Bennett and Game are partnering with a family run IT & Cyber Security company actively looking to take on a 2nd Line Support Engineer to assist in the growth within their business based in Waterlooville.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get real on the job training and development alongside nationally recognised certifications and eventually progressing into a 3rd Line Support Engineer role.

2nd Line Support Engineer Job Overview

This role is a blend of responsibility and growth. You'll already be confident in:

• Taking ownership of escalated support requests
• Communicating clearly with clients
• Troubleshooting issues in Microsoft 365, Windows, and networking environments

You'll be building experience in:

• Project delivery and migrations
• Azure AD and cloud-first environments
• Security standards and best practices
• Scripting and automation

2nd Line Support Engineer Job Requirements

• Positive attitude and hunger to improve
• Calm under pressure
• Strong communicator
• Process-oriented and dependable
• Networking fundamentals (Ubiquiti, Mikrotik desirable)
• VoIP and 3CX knowledge - Highly Desirable
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments - Highly Desirable

2nd Line Support Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Circa £30k salary DOE
• Monday - Friday (office hours)
• 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
• Growth pathway to 3rd Line Engineer
