Sign Studio Assistant/ Layout Draftsman apprentice

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in a range of computer and hand skills within our graphics and drawing studio whilst learning from experienced specialists in these areas.

As an apprentice within these areas you will play an important role learning how to contribute to the production of print and signs and how to produce visuals and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become involved in all aspects of studio production and sign drafting and CAD drawing using a computer
• Learn how to follow instructions and design briefs
• Over time, being able to produce design drawings for client approval
• Gain knowledge in producing sign studio graphics, digital prints and vinyl graphics for application to flat materials
• Set-up and processing of computer files for digital printing and the cutting of self-adhesive vinyl
