IT Project Manager

We are seeking an organised and experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology projects from initiation through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders across the business, manage project teams, and deliver solutions that support business objectives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities for IT Project Manager Roles
  • Managing IT projects from scope definition and planning through to delivery, implementation, and closure

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and project documentation

  • Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, technical specialists, and senior stakeholders to deliver project objectives

  • Defining project scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria

  • Monitoring project progress, costs, timelines, quality, and resources, taking corrective action where required

  • Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

  • Facilitating project meetings, workshops, reviews, and steering group updates

  • Providing clear and timely progress reports to stakeholders and senior management

  • Managing change control processes and ensuring that project decisions are documented and communicated

  • Supporting testing, implementation, user acceptance, training, and post-project reviews

  • Ensuring projects follow relevant governance, security, compliance, and change management procedures

  • Promoting effective collaboration and continuous improvement across IT project delivery

IT Project Manager Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience managing IT or technology projects from initiation to completion

  • Experience of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches

  • Strong understanding of project planning, budget management, risk management, change control, and stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams while meeting deadlines

  • Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience using project management tools and software to maintain plans, actions, reporting, and documentation

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to project delivery

  • Relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, or Scrum certification, is desirable

  • Experience working with third-party suppliers, contractors, or external technology partners is an advantage

Working Hours and Location
  • Full-time position

  • Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support key project milestones - 3 days per week on site

  • Hybrid, office-based, or remote working arrangements may be available depending on business requirements

  • Occasional travel or out-of-hours support may be required during implementations or critical project activities
