• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting test cases for web, IT, and business applications.
• Record defects clearly and communicate them to the development and IT teams for resolution.
• Support both manual and automated test processes, learning best practices for high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to understand requirements and ensure our testing is thorough and inclusive.
• Help maintain detailed records of test results, contributing to a transparent, shared knowledge base.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and methodologies, with full training provided to help you develop your skills.

• Some experience or clear interest in software testing, QA, or IT systems (either through education, personal projects, or work experience).
• Good problem-solving ability and a systematic approach to finding and documenting issues.
• Confident communicator—able to work well with technical and non-technical colleagues alike.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to spot patterns and inconsistencies.
• Ready to learn new skills, tools, and processes as you develop within the role.

• Degree, diploma or relevant certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or working towards one).
• Basic familiarity with software development lifecycles or testing frameworks is a plus but not required.
• Awareness of quality assurance or IT service management best practices.
