PX4 Programmer

Contract available for a software / development engineer with a specialisation in PX4 and UAV's / UAS / Drones

Ideal Experience:

• PX4 Autopilot, Pixhawk, Ardupilot experience
• Experience with writing C++ and C drivers for PX4 involving:
• uORB topics
• UAVCAN
• Experience with PX4 autopilot modules (again C or C++) including:
• Flight tasks
• Modules
• Understanding of MAVLink and/or uXRCE-DDS communication layers
• Ability to create and use test environments inside Linux, including ROS2 and Gazebo
• In general, fixed-wing UAV autopilot development
• Control systems experience is a plus for writing our own custom controllers (i.e. highly customised and robust flight behaviour)
