Description for the Infrastructure Manager role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c10 people) in a fast-paced technology environment and requires a good understanding of Linux administration, hands on Network configuration/Toubleshooting and some Kubernetes. Ideally you should possess knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Datacentre infrastructure and Puppet/Ansible. This will be joining their growing practise and will offer great opportunities for career growth.
The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit the there offices for important meetings (Newcastle)
Experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer roles:-
- 5yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
- Team leading/Management experience
- Linux administration skills
- Kubernetes knowledge
- Solid networking/Security understanding/experience
- Scripting (Python or similar)
Salary for the Infrastructure Manager role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £75,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
