Description for the Senior Linux System Administrator role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve working in a Infrastructure/DevOps team in a fast-paced technology environment and requires a good understanding of Kubernetes and Linux administration. Ideally you should possess knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Ansible and networking principles. This will be joining their growing practise and will offer great opportunities for career growth.

The role can be fully remote or hybrid if you live in the Newcastle area and prefer it - You choose!

Experience required for the Senior Linux System Administrator role:-

• 5yrs+ commercial experience in a commercial Administrator/Network infrastructure role
• Linux administration skills
• Solid Kubernetes knowledge
• Strong networking/Security understanding/experience - ideally data centre infrastructure
• Ansible, Docker, Puppet

Salary for the Senior Linux System Administrator role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £60,000 to £70,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
