Berkshire Healthcare have an exciting opportunity foranAdministrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at West Berkshire Community Hospital on a one year Fixed Term Contract (Secondments can be considered). Part time: 30 Hours

We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service andcommunication skills, aflexible approach, and who are competent at multi-tasking.Good IT skills are essential, and you must beable to demonstrate theability to work on your own as well as working in collaboration with others.
You will be responsible for the management of patient referrals and appointments utilising phone and email communication whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patients.
Main duties of the job

Act as primary point of contact for MSK patients and visitors attending the department

Take responsibility for digital referral management and patient bookings.

Variety of specific admin tasks including management of phonelines and email,with patient focus at the forefront of our role.

Liaising with other departments and services to support andassistpatients as needed, such as interpreting services.

Collecting data and statistics toassistmanagement in guiding the service direction.

Working flexibly in response to the needs of the patients,serviceand Physiotherapists.

Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality,effectiveand compassionate service both virtually and in person.

Person Specification
Education, qualifications or training
- NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/experience
- Basic knowledge of administration and/or office procedures
- Previousknowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties, including minute-taking
- Knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/ packages
- Knowledge and understanding of the post and Trust
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
- Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages, such as Outlook, MS Office, theinternetand databases
