Job summary
We are looking for a WAM Community Nursing Team Administrator (Fixed Term 12 month) to join our CQC rated 'Outstanding' Trust. As a Community Nursing Team Administrator, you will support the Community Nursing service deliver care to people in their own homes by providing effective administrative and secretarial support to the team. Main duties of the job
- Support the effective operation of the Community Nursing Service by providing organisational, administrative, and secretarial support to the team.
- Be the first port of call for any IT issues within departments.
- Liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organisations, and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- Attend designated meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive, taking, and transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and after meetings in a timely way.
- To maintain an inventory of medical equipment held by the team, liaise with estates over the maintenance of medical devices and record training on medical devices as required.

Person Specification
Education, qualifications or training
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent including English
- NVQ2 or equivalent qualification/ experience
Continued Professional Development
- Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Previous Experience
- ECDL (European Computer Driving License) or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages
- Previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties and supervising the work of others
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
- Ability to empathise, be supportive and sensitive to the needs of others
- Ability to use a practical problem-solving approach in everyday situations
- Ability to work as part of a team
