Inspection Engineer
Our Client a well established independent welfare cabin and powered access hire company are looking to recruit a service engineer to repair ,service and maintain welfare cabin units.
Working Days : Monday - Friday 07:30am - 17:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Pay ; £15.84ph
Overtime and bonuses available
The work will involve:
- Service, maintain and repair tow able welfare units across the fleet
- Diagnose and repair generators, solar/hybrid power systems, heating, lighting and plumbing
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and prepare units for hire
- Fault-find and repair 12V, 24V and 240V electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Complete accurate service records and report parts requirements
- Ensure all units meet health, safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience servicing welfare units, plant, generators or similar mobile equipment
- Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge (recognised electrical qualification an advantage)
- Full UK driving licence - towing (B+E) entitlement preferred
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, self-motivated and safety-focused
