To work in a highly pressurised environment to facilitate the delivery of a professional efficient and effective administration service liaising with a number of clinical staff and MDT teams on a regular basis.
Main duties of the job
Use of local patient administration systems to manage all referrals, waiting lists and appointments for all patients in a timely manner.
Liaise with Primary Care Opticians ensuring patients are referred to them in a timely manner and collate information received after patient has had appointment and update clinical systems.
Support the Secretarial teams in all areas.
Use epro to transcribe and create letters, filing, updating excel spreadsheets, collating data, inputting data onto the WPAS system.
Deal with telephone enquiries in a professional timely manner.
Liaise with clinical staff on a regular basis.

- RSA Typing Grade 1 and above

- Experience within a busy office/ call centre environment dealing with members of the public and hospital staff.
- Knowledge of WPAS/ Hospital administration systems
