Project Manager (Junior / Early Career)

Leeds | Hybrid (3 days per week)

£35,000 – £45,000 + 15% annual bonus

My client is a fast-growing ecommerce business that has seen significant growth over the last few years and is continuing to invest across platform, operations and systems.

They are looking for an early-stage Project Manager to support the delivery of cross-functional initiatives across technology, ecommerce and operations. This role would suit someone who has started their career in project delivery and is now looking to take on more ownership in a fast-paced environment.

The role

You’ll work across a number of projects, helping to bring structure, organisation and momentum to ongoing initiatives. You’ll be given the opportunity to take ownership of delivery while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a hands-on role in a business that is still evolving, so it suits someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and take ownership of project delivery across technology, ecommerce and operations
• Help maintain project plans, timelines and documentation
• Track progress, risks and dependencies and keep stakeholders aligned
• Coordinate activity across teams including engineering, ecommerce and operations
• Support testing, rollout and implementation of new systems and processes
• Ensure actions and next steps are clearly communicated and followed through

What they’re looking for

• 1–3 years experience in a project management or delivery role
• Exposure to technology, systems or operational change projects
• Experience in ecommerce, retail or fast-paced environments is highly desirable
• Prince2 or similar qualification (or working towards)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in an environment where not everything is fully defined
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and learn
