Senior Game Designer
BettingJobs is working with a well-established B2B games developer with offices in London, Reading and Malaga who are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate Casino game concepts having always in mind the wider Product strategy.
- Hold the vision for the product from inception to release
- Pitch new insights to the team/hold brainstorming sessions.
- Collaborate with other Game Designers to keep a competitive games portfolio.
- Accountable for the products you create
- Participate in creation and review of original math models, new game themes, and concepts for Casino games (Slots, Table, Other).
- Participates in collaboration sessions regarding game, interface, animation, sound, and art style.
- Innovate and improve leading game mechanics and ideas for new game products.
- As a Game Designer, you will ultimately be responsible for the mechanics and dynamics of the Casino games produced across the studio(s).
- Engages with the commercial team to understand market conditions and requirements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a Slot Game Designer, or similar role in the Casino Gaming industry.
- Narrative skills.
- A customer-first mindset.
- Understanding of systems, mechanics and feature design.
- Comfortable with Excel/spreadsheets.
- A proactive self-starter attitude, with excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire internal teams & stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
- A high degree of individual initiative, and personal accountability.
