Product Owner - Financial Investigations

Bring your financial investigations expertise into a role where technology and public service meet.

This is a unique opportunity for a financial investigations expert to join a specialist software provider delivering intelligence-led solutions to law enforcement and government agencies.

About the role
You’ll be joining a cross-functional team with a shared mission to tackle complex financial and economic crime through smarter technology. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll bring insight from your experience in police, public sector, or similar environments to shape how solutions are delivered, communicated, and improved.

This role combines investigative expertise with commercial awareness. You’ll be hands-on, shaping product usage, contributing to client success, and speaking externally at conferences and forums to share best practice.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing subject matter expertise across financial and economic crime investigations
  • Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to optimise product use and real-world outcomes
  • Representing the organisation at industry events, conferences, and customer forums
  • Advising on product development and capability through your specialist knowledge
  • Supporting clients with complex implementations
What we’re looking for
  • A strong background in financial investigation or economic crime—ideally from public sector, policing, or regulatory agencies
  • First-hand experience using software tools designed for investigation, case management, or intelligence analysis
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging external audiences or presenting at events/conferences
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to translate operational needs into product discussions
  • Hands-on approach and the desire to contribute across strategy, delivery, and frontline support
Why apply? This is a role with real-world purpose. You’ll work with a company known for developing cutting-edge software used by law enforcement and government bodies across the UK and internationally.
You'll also benefit from:
  • A salary up to £60,000 - depending on experience
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week onsite
  • Permanent position
  • Nottingham based office
