Business Analyst
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join an existing technology team delivering complex business and systems change as they move from legacy to modern technology. This role will suit an experienced Business Analyst who is comfortable operating within Agile delivery environments and working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll play a key role in understanding business needs, translating requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value. The successful candidate will have experience working on complex technology-focused projects, collaborating with development teams, architects, product owners and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.Key Responsibilities
- Produce, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation and optimisation.
- Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately understood and delivered.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple business functions and technical teams.
- Produce high-quality documentation including process maps, requirements specifications and business cases.
- Support change initiatives from discovery through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex technical environments.
- Strong experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Ability to gather, document and prioritise requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Experience creating user stories, process maps, workflows and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Experience supporting end-to-end project and change delivery.
- Comfortable suggesting templates and new ways of working
- Experience maintaining SharePoint sites
- Understanding of business process improvement methodologies.
- Fixed-term contract running until the projected programme end date of December 2028
- Salary £50,000 - £60,000
- Hybrid working model (3 days per week onsite in Sutton-in-Ashfield)
