Bioinformatics Specialist

The Bioinformatician - Content Analyst will support pharmaceutical R&D by applying information science, data analytics, and AI to extract insights from biomedical literature. The role focuses on designing scalable content analytics workflows, enabling responsible AI use, and collaborating across scientific and digital teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI-enabled workflows for literature mining, summarization, and trend analysis.
• Apply NLP and large language models to improve information retrieval and content classification.
• Ensure content and data comply with FAIR principles, data governance, and licensing requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for content analytics and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Deliver training and guidance on AI/NLP tools and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Background in information science, data science, or a related discipline.
• Experience or strong interest in NLP, LLMs, and AI-driven text analytics.
• Knowledge of FAIR data principles, metadata, and semantic technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
