The Technology Transactions team sits within a broader commercial practice and is regarded as one of the strongest tech-focused teams in the market.

The team advises on cutting-edge AI, data, and technology projects, combining deep sector knowledge with a highly commercial, pragmatic approach. Work is frequently international in scope, involving sophisticated clients operating across multiple jurisdictions.

The role

The firm is looking to welcome a Senior Associate into its Technology Transactions team, with a specific focus on AI contracting and governance.

Working closely with market-leading partners, the successful candidate will take a lead role on complex and high-profile matters, including:

  • Advising on AI contractual frameworks, governance models, and risk allocation
  • Drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, including cloud, SaaS, outsourcing, and system implementation projects
  • Supporting clients on the legal and regulatory issues associated with the deployment and use of AI
  • Leading significant technology transactions with light-touch partner oversight
  • Contributing to business development and thought leadership in AI and emerging technology

Required

  • Qualified solicitor with 5 PQE +
  • Strong background in technology transactions gained at a leading law firm or comparable environment
  • Demonstrable experience advising on AI contractual and governance issues
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in AI law
