As a Principal Trainer, you'llplay a pivotal role in transforming patient care by:

Creating Impactful Training:Develop comprehensive training packages and materials that empower end users with the knowledge they need.

Delivering Excellence: Lead engaging training sessions and support the End-User Training team to ensure successful adoption of Taurus EPR.

What You'll Bring:

Expert Training Skills:Proven experience in delivering training to large groups in a digital environment.

Expertise in Epic: Certification in an Epic application, expertise in learning theories, techniques, and needs assessment to create excellent training resources including tip sheets.

Organisational Understanding: Outstanding organizational understating and communication skills, coupled with proficiencyin Microsoft Office.
Main duties of the job
Develop high quality, up to date and easy to follow end user training materials using the appropriate format. This includes manuals, teaching aids, PowerPoint presentations, tip sheets, any eLearning packages.
Communicate highly complex work processes with knowledge of local workflows which may create contentious situations.
Be responsible for decision making processes which may require management of hostile or highly emotive workshops or meetings.
Guide staff on the course of action to take during design of new patient pathways.
Develop and deliver formal and complex presentations for large groups of staff.
Deliver training and eLearning support as necessary on a one-to-one basis or in a larger group environment dependent on service requirements using a blended learning approach wherever possible.
Provide education and training to all appropriate trust staff ensuring you follow the Trust policies and protocols.
Actively participate in continuous professional development.
Attend and deliver to colleague's refresher training sessions as required.

Person Specification
Epic Certification
- Certification in one or more of the following specialist Epic applications Ambulatory, Stork, Willow, Orders
- Degree level or equivalent (e.g. IT, Training)
- Evidence of personal and professional development.
- Willingness to undertake further training and personal development.
- Previous Training experience
Knowledge
- Experience working with clinicians and other staff to deeply understand their workflows and needs within the Epic system.
- Clear, detailed understanding of configuring the Epic platform and its modules through hands-on build and testing
- Proven experience in the ability to interact with personnel at all levels both clinical and non-clinical within healthcare
Skills
- Excellent organizational, presentation, planning, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create rapport
- Good analytical and project management skills
