Shift Patterns & Pay
Shift 1: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm — £13.46 per hour
Shift 2: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm — £15.34 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting Document Handlers / Processing Operatives to join a leading global digital solutions company.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven operational environment where you will play an important role in supporting document management activities. Your responsibilities will include mailroom processing, document scanning, data validation, quality checking, manifest mailroom and the retrieval and handling of physical documents from the warehouse.
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with relevant operational experience who are looking to join a professional and structured working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, process, and accurately log incoming mail and documents
Carry out security and threat checks on inbound items
Open, batch, register, validate, and scan documents
Complete quality checks to ensure accurate imaging and data indexing
Retrieve, store, and organise physical documents from within the warehouse
Work towards productivity targets, including APH (Activities Per Hour) and agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
Carry out manual handling duties safely and efficiently
Follow company policies, procedures, values, and operational standards
Maintain a high level of accuracy while working to deadlines and productivity targets
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
Experienced in a mailroom, scanning, warehouse, document processing, or similar operational environment
Comfortable working to strict productivity targets and deadlines
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using basic computer systems for data entry and document tracking
Able to complete a typing test as part of the recruitment process
Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling duties
Strong communicators who work well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently in a fast-paced environment
Essential Requirements
Safety shoes are required
Must successfully pass a DBS check
Must be able to provide 3 years of references
Must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Must be able to reliably commute to the relevant site
Own transport is required
Training & Working Pattern
Full intensive training will be provided during the first two weeks , covering all relevant sections and processes.
Following completion of four weeks of work , you will be required to take a two-week break as part of the seasonal working arrangement.
