SAP FI/CO Consultant - Home based + Some travel

SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong PS knowledge/experience is required by our fast growing major consulting partner customer. Following recent global expansion sign off on SAP S4HANA Solutions initiatives, our global consultancy client are expanding their SAP Practice across the UK and Europe. As we grow we're looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO (with PS) Consultant to join our high-performing team.

Based remotely, this role will also require client visits. Due to the nature of our client's accounts Security Clearance is required and for us to obtain this for you, you must be a sole British National that has resided and worked in the UK consecutively for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider dual nationals' currently.

Day to day accountabilities will be varied and involve: -

• Working closely with our varied customer base utilising your knowledge and experience providing advice and support around FICO SAP configuration and business processes.
• Support and liaise closely with corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and offer support to clients to meet contractual obligations.
• Deliver Great Customer Service - build effective working relationships with colleagues, as well as internal & external customers.
• Deliver Customer Change - working with our customers to:
• Gather and analyse requirements, define, validate, and design solutions.
• Translate requirements into estimates and functional specifications, working with appropriate teams to comprehensively detail SAP Configuration, ABAP changes, Security requirements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
• Establish implementation/cutover plans and educate for ongoing support.
• From time to time, there may also be opportunity to be involved in short term Projects providing support for FICO related activities.

Essential experience should include: -

• Experience in a SAP FICO Consultant role
• Excellent knowledge and proven experience in customizing and developing
• Home based but flexible to travel
• SAP FICO solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements.
• A good understanding and experience of FICO related business process.
• Experience of Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and defect management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong personal and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work at pace managing own workload to meet challenging deadlines.
• Ability to change focus quickly based on changing prioritisation and demands.
• S/4 Hana experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of Integration with other SAP modules (eg MM, SD advantageous.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding around Project Systems configuration and key operational procedures, supported with an evidenced history of supporting Project Systems.

Nice to have

• SAP Certified, or a willingness to commit to a learning journey
• Experience in Treasury Management or Fiori an advantage.
