Project Manager
Your Job We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will help drive our project roadmap, contribute to our product planning, and ensure our project teams operate efficiently. The role will be based at our UK Headquarters in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow. Our Team BittWare , a Molex Company, designs and manufactures enterprise-class FPGA and Embedded x86 hardware that enables customers to deploy solutions quickly and with low risk. Find out about our product range at our website: What You Will Do As a Project Manager within the product development engineering group, you will organize and keep cross-functional new product introduction projects on track. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, timelines, and communication across the portfolio to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives. You will:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet scope, budget, and timeline targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including product management, operations, and procurement teams.
- Manage risks and issues proactively by identifying roadblocks early and driving resolution.
- Track and report project progress, status, and metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate team meetings, update project documentation, and maintain communication channels.
- Ensure regulatory and environmental requirements are incorporated into project plans and deliverables.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within engineering.
- Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably with exposure to regulatory or environmental compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to analyze complex problems and define actionable solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications.
- GitLab, PowerBI, and MS Project experience.
- Strong data analysis skills to support project decision-making.
