Our client

A creative technical events production agency with a warehouse brimming with high spec kit our client delivers some amazing live events across some well known UK and international venues. The could include conferences, awards, fashion shows and parties. Due to rapid expansion and a brilliant reputation they are now growing their technical departments with a rare opportunity for a Head of Audio!

The role

As Head of Audio you will report to the Technical Director leading the Audio department. As the expert in audio for the company you will oversee live audio system design and operation across a wide range of exciting event projects. As a senior position the role will lead and develop a team, training across new audio techniques as well as being client facing and involved in the larger and more complex live events from an audio perspective.

About you

With advanced live audio system design and deployment knowledge you will have in-depth Vectorworks knowledge as well as being a confident user of ArrayCalc and NoizeCalc. You will know how to use Shure Wireless Workbench and Yamaha sound desks to a high level, be Dante certified and have strong networking knowledge as well as RF planning, wireless systems and audio infrastructure. Alongside this in-depth technical audio skill set you have extensive live events audio system design, execution and operational experience; enjoy leading and mentoring a team and be an excellent communicator happy in a client facing role.
