We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to be based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing site in Basingstoke.

Hours: Double day shifts, 6am - 2pm/2pm- 10pmWhat can we off you?

The role:

As Quality Control Technician , you will inspect manufactured and purchased products in accordance with company drawings & specifications.

Key duties and responsibilities: Metrology inspection of purchased and manufactured products in accordance with Drawings, processes, internal documentation and any other requirements.

Inspecting components using QC equipment - micrometres, verniers, gauges etcInspecting components using QC preprogrammed equipment - CMM and VMMSupporting NPD with parts/products requiring inspection and reports.

Liaising with the relevant technical authority on any technical issue.

Supporting MRB Reviews when necessary.

Supporting CAPA investigations, internally & externally as and when required.

Performing and/or supporting Gauge R&R or MSA reviews in line with company requirements.

Supporting calibration when necessary.

Supporting both Internal & External audits.

What are we looking for?

As Quality Control Technician, you will have the following: Key skills and experience: HNC or equivalent in an Engineering DisciplineTrained and experienced in the use of CMM and VMMExperience in machining and milling, ideally within the medical or aerospace sectorFamiliar with GD&T and confident in a variety of metrology equipment ranging from a micrometre to CMM/VMMAbility to read drawings and determine the method of inspection.
