Principal Software Engineer

The Opportunity We are expanding our software engineering team to meet the requirements of a demanding and exciting product roadmap. At Blighter, we develop all the software required to use our range of radar products, from the radar’s onboard processing software to the external command and control. To deliver the capabilities that our next generation radars require, we are undertaking a program of extensive software development. This role takes a senior position in the development of our BlighterNexus radar command & control software, with a focus on the design and architecture of complex data processing, distribution, and display systems. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of both BlighterNexus and the radar software it interfaces with, and steer the development of major new Nexus features. The right candidate brings significant industry experience, and is looking to take ownership of significant product developments working with cutting-edge radar hardware.
