The Opportunity

This is a career-defining role for someone who thrives at the intersection of community, events, and talent. You'll be the driving force behind Blissgrowth's community-building initiatives. Curating world-class events, cultivating deep relationships across our ecosystem, and sourcing new business deals and exceptional talent for our portfolio companies.

You'll work directly with the founding team, with significant autonomy to shape how we engage with founders, operators, investors, and the broader tech ecosystem. The equity and carry package reflects how seriously we take this role - we want someone who thinks like an owner.

What You'll Do

Community & Events

  • Lead end-to-end planning and management of all Blissgrowth events, including flagship Building Again events, Operator events, ICP Persona-focused events, and smaller roundtable dinners
  • Source and secure high-calibre speakers and panellists for every event - this is a primary responsibility. Sponsors choose events based on speaker quality, so speaker acquisition is central to revenue success
  • Own the full event calendar across ~20–25 events per year, managing cadence, logistics, and post-event follow-up
  • Build and launch a community newsletter to consolidate engagement across all event participants, operators, and ecosystem contacts
  • Build and nurture relationships across our community of founders, operators, and investors. Regularly touching base and keeping the network warm
  • Curate attendee lists to ensure high-quality, targeted audiences per event (e.g. Series B+ CFOs, founding GTM leads)
  • Drive community engagement and be the glue between Blissgrowth and its ecosystem

Talent Sourcing

  • Source and place talent into our portfolio companies, building a pipeline of exceptional candidates across key roles (eg. growth leads, founding GTM, founding engineers)
  • Develop relationships with potential candidates through community interactions, events, and proactive outreach
  • Grow the community across three key talent segments

Cross-Divisional Growth

  • Generate and route event-qualified referrals to the sales team and portfolio companies via integrated channel partnerships
  • Identify and introduce warm opportunities to portfolio companies
  • Feed interesting community members into the wider BlissGrowth ecosystem as potential co-founders, advisors, or hires

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience in community building, event management, or talent sourcing - you need at least one of these, but must genuinely enjoy doing all of them
  • A natural connector who loves meeting people, hosting events, and building relationships
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Startup-obsessed: you live and breathe the ecosystem, attend events in your own time, and are energised by the pace of early-stage company building
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - you see this as a platform to build something meaningful, not just a job

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: Competitive market rate plus 20% bonus
  • Significant equity and carry in the fund, valued at £100,000 – £200,000 per year - this is a genuine ownership stake
  • Hybrid role: London-based with remote flexibility
