AI-Assisted Transformation Programme

Outside IR35 | Remote | To £465 per day | Occasional travel for meetings

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a major Professional Services technology transformation programme, delivering a range of innovative products and capabilities through a specification-led, AI-assisted delivery model.

Working as part of a collaborative team of analysts, you will play a key role in shaping new digital solutions, connecting business needs with technology delivery and helping to define how products are designed, developed and delivered.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who goes beyond traditional requirements gathering — someone who can understand the bigger picture, challenge existing processes, use AI tools to accelerate analysis and prototyping, and translate ideas into practical solutions that deliver measurable business value.

About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work across one of several strategic workstreams, supporting the design and delivery of new platforms, process improvements and technology-enabled services.

You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, operational teams and technology teams, helping to define user journeys, processes, integrations and functional requirements.

AI is central to this programme, and you will be expected to use tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to rapidly prototype concepts, explore solutions and accelerate design activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, opportunities and desired outcomes.
  • Map end-to-end processes, user journeys and system interactions.
  • Define requirements, user stories and functional specifications.
  • Support product discovery, solution design, delivery and implementation.
  • Use AI tools to create mock-ups, prototypes and accelerate analysis activities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements and enhanced user experiences.
  • Understand system integrations, data flows and dependencies across wider technology landscapes.
  • Facilitate workshops with business users, technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Support testing, business readiness and successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Help shape roadmaps by understanding priorities, value and commercial impact.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst or Solution Analyst with a strong track record of supporting technology change.

You will bring:

  • Experience delivering business analysis within technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong process mapping, journey mapping and requirements definition skills.
  • Experience creating user stories and functional specifications.
  • The ability to work confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of systems, integrations and dependencies.
  • Experience using AI tools (particularly Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) to support analysis, prototyping or solution design.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to link technology solutions to business value.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Digital portals, self-service platforms or customer experience solutions.
  • Process automation and workflow optimisation.
  • Finance, risk, compliance, HR, workforce or professional services systems.
  • Data flows, integrations and reporting.
  • Low-code technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform.
  • AI-enabled solutions, knowledge management or intelligent automation.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking transformation programme where analysis is a critical part of delivery success. You will have the opportunity to shape innovative solutions, work with modern AI-enabled approaches and make a tangible impact on how technology supports business growth.
