Overview

Seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Business Analyst to support a growing AI programme. This role will work across multiple AI initiatives, helping to identify, shape, and deliver practical use cases that drive operational efficiency and improved customer experience.

This is not a purely documentation role — the expectation is someone comfortable getting into the detail, working directly with stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to turn ideas into working solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and define AI use cases across the organisation

• Lead discovery activities (workshops, interviews, process mapping) to understand current workflows and pain points

• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and solution options

• Support the design and delivery of AI-enabled solutions, working closely with engineering, data, and vendor teams

• Evaluate third-party AI capabilities and tools, including practical fit-for-purpose assessments

Example initiatives include:

• Exploring AI capabilities within Zendesk to enhance client support (automation, agent assist, knowledge surfacing, etc.)

• Identifying opportunities for AI-driven workflow optimisation across service and operational teams

• Supporting rollout of AI tools (e.g. copilots, automation layers, digital workers)

• Helping define governance, guardrails, and responsible AI usage within the business

Required Experience

• Strong Business Analyst experience (ideally 5+ years) in technology or digital programmes

• Demonstrable experience working on AI, automation, or data-driven initiatives

• Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-oriented environment (not just documentation)

• Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to quickly understand complex processes and identify improvement opportunities

• Experience working with SaaS platforms and integrations

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to customer support platforms (e.g. Zendesk or similar)

• Experience with AI tools such as copilots, LLM-based solutions, or workflow automation platforms

• Understanding of data privacy, governance, and AI risk considerations

• Experience in fast-paced, transformation or scale-up environments

Key Attributes

• Pragmatic and delivery-focused

• Comfortable with ambiguity and shaping emerging requirements

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Curious mindset with an interest in AI and emerging technologies

• Able to challenge constructively and drive outcomes

Deliverables

• Clearly defined and prioritised AI use cases

• Process maps and opportunity assessments

• Requirements documentation (proportionate, not excessive)

• Support for solution design and implementation

• Measurable outcomes from AI initiatives (efficiency, cost reduction, service improvement)

Summary

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact AI programme, working across a range of practical initiatives with real business value. The role suits someone who enjoys building from the ground up, working closely with stakeholders, and turning AI potential into tangible outcomes.
