The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Data Manager to take ownership of a growing organisation’s data landscape. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the intersection of technology and business, where you’ll shape how data is managed, interpreted, and used to drive commercial and customer-focused outcomes.

Working within a modern BI and reporting environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring data quality, delivering meaningful insights, and evolving data capabilities in line with business strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage the organisation’s data landscape, ensuring data is accurate, secure, and readily available
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI (or similar tools)
  • Lead data migration, ETL, and integration activities across multiple systems
  • Oversee database administration, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Apply analytical and data science techniques to generate actionable insights
  • Work closely with stakeholders across technical and commercial teams to understand requirements and deliver value-driven data solutions
  • Translate business needs into effective data strategies, balancing short-term delivery with long-term capability building
  • Contribute to data architecture discussions, collaborating with technical specialists to support scalable and robust solutions

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in a Data Manager or similar role
  • Strong background in BI, reporting, and data management
  • Experience with Power BI or equivalent visualisation tools
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data migration, and system integration
  • Database administration experience (performance, security, optimisation)
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

  • Exposure to data science or advanced analytics techniques
  • Experience contributing to data architecture or strategy
  • Experience working in a commercial or customer-focused environment
