What you’ll be doing
- Providing 2nd/3rd line IT support in line with SLAs, covering connectivity issues, system outages, incident response, and critical upgrades
- Administering network, server, and security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools
- Coordinating and participating in vulnerability testing, security assessments, and remediation activity
- Implementing and managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure (Azure or AWS, virtualisation, identity, and access management)
- Operating and testing backup schedules, disaster recovery procedures, and restoration processes
- Monitoring systems and resolving issues proactively
- Managing software licensing across the business
- Delivering technical projects, upgrades, and migrations
- Overseeing patching, system maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Creating and maintaining documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Embedding security best practice across IT operations
- Acting as a technical liaison with external partners and suppliers
