Account Director - CRM/Customer Experience and Marketing Technology
My client is a specialist Customer Experience consultancy who help their clients maximise their marketing potential by helping them get the best out of their Marketing Technology/Automation and Customer Data.
Job Summary
We are looking for a sales focussed Account Director to join the team to
find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly
responsible for the preservation and expansion of the existing customer base, with new
clients periodically added as opportunities are closed by the New Business team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service with a deep
understanding of the marketing automation technology landscape. You will excel at balancing customer satisfaction with a results-driven commercial approach.
Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with your assigned clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.
Main Responsibilities
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients (circa 15). You will serve as the primary point of contact for all the accounts you
manage and have accountability for retention and growth of your existing account base
according to agreed account plans.
• Understand business trends that are impacting the client’s environment and the
opportunities that are being driven by those trends
• Identifying opportunities for our clients, which leverage our strengths or
additional services
• Identify Strategic Players (budget holders/decision makers) within clients, establish
and maintain active relationships with these people
• Liaise with clients regularly and build strong relationships
• Developing, presenting, and closing service proposals to our clients
• Draw on expertise within our specialist technical teams and our partners for clients as
required
• Demonstrating high level functionality of the marketing technologies
• Contributing information to sales strategies and services development
• Report on the status of clients to senior management
Qualifications and Skills
• Experience as an Account Executive, Account Director or similar sales/customer
service role within the CRM/Marketing Automation world
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Understanding of sales principles and performance metrics
• High degree of professionalism
Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience of CRM tools, Hubspot an advantage
• Experience of LAMP (Large Account Management Process) an advantage
• Qualified to degree or at least BTEC HND level
Salary, Commission and Benefits
Basic salary upto £55,000 plus commission/bonus paid quarterly of upto £42,000 per year. Therfore OTE is £97,000.
They work a fully remote model, although you will be expected to visit clients face to face regularly, so you will need to be prepared and happy to travel.
